Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GST/Indirect Tax professional for the position of Manager/Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience, preferably with exposure to Big4 or Big5 firms. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and provide strategic tax advisory services to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
-Advisory and Compliance:
-Provide expert advice on GST/indirect tax matters, including tax planning and optimization.
-Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST regulations, including preparation and filing of returns.
-Litigation and Representation:
-Handle GST audits, assessments, and appeals.
-Represent clients before tax authorities and tribunals.
-Client Management:
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business and providing tailored tax solutions.
-Lead client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
Team Leadership:
-Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment.
-Review work completed by team members and provide constructive feedback.
-Business Development:
-Identify new opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm indirect tax practice.
-Develop thought leadership articles, participate in seminars, and enhance the firm market presence.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
-Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or equivalent qualification.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in GST/indirect tax, preferably in Big4/Big5 firms or reputed consulting organizations.
-In-depth knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and recent amendments.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively.
